The Maldives is
a nation of islands in the Indian Ocean spanning across the equator. The
Maldives lie southwest of Sri Lanka and India near the equator. We will fly to
Velana International Airport, located on Hulhule Island in the North Male
Atoll, near Male's capital island. We will be greeted by our vessel crew and
transported to the luxury Liveaboard Emperor Explorer.

Emperor Explorer
is the epitome of luxury. You will be spoiled cruising the Maldives atolls on
this magnificent and spacious vessel. Launched in 2019, the 138-foot M/V Emperor Explorer is
modern and safe with all amenities a diver could need on four large decks. With
guests' comfort top of mind, 13 staterooms have their own bathroom facilities
and are individually air-conditioned. The main salon is vast, with scenic views
during dinner, and the upper deck includes a spacious outdoor lounge area and a
hot tub. Diving is conducted from a sizeable custom-built dhoni. No ordinary
tender, it has ample space for all divers, cameras, and gear.
Our 7 night/8day Adventure takes on the special Hanifaru & North Itinerary. If you
love manta rays, this itinerary is made for you! It runs around the New Moon
phase to improve manta encounters. Turtles, grey & whitetip reef sharks,
napoleon wrasses, barracudas ad many more can be also seen. It includes Baa
Atoll (Hanifaru Bay, Nelivaru & Dhiggu Thilas, and many more), North Male (pinnacles,
Lankan manta point), and Lhaviyani Atoll (Fushivaru Thila, Kuredu Express &
caves). Water temperatures year-round are in the mid 80's. Dives are all in the
100 foot and shallower range where all the big animals are. We can expect up to
26 dives!
THE PACKAGE
Include
7 nights/8 days aboard the vessel, three meals daily, afternoon snacks, 1 BBQ
dinner (weather permitting), 1 glass of wine at dinner, up to 4 dives daily,
use of tanks, weights, drinking water, tea and coffee, bath towels, government
tax, bed tax, roundtrip airport transfers at Male. Nitrox 32% gas is included.
Fuel Surcharge included. This is a non-technical diving trip. Single Tank diving, no doubles, no rebreathers.

Packages do not include: Travel to or from Male. Rental gear, Soft drinks,
juices, alcoholic beverages. (you run a bar tab and settle end of week, all top
shelf at reasonable pricing) Spa treatments. Trip Cancellation insurance
(recommended) DAN International Dive Insurance (required). Wi fi ($22 per week,
when in service range), Hanifaru snorkeling permit for whale sharks (if
available subject to government access) or crew Tip 15% - crew tip added to your final invoice)
