Description   2nd STAGE SHUT-OFF DEVICE For the cold-water diver, the Free-flow Control Device can add an additional level of security. In the event of a 2nd stage freeze-up, the Free-flow Control Device will isolate the 2nd stage to prevent air loss. These are also used on stage bottles and bail out bottles for rebreather divers. It allows the tank to stay on and immediate access to the 2nd stage gas with the slide of a collar.
